Can this be done? I would like to leave a small amount of stuff in Lisbon in a lock up. Very small, breifcase size.
There are luggage lockers at Santa Apolonia (cost something like €4 for up to 48 hrs) and Oriente stations, and a left-luggage facility at the airport. If by any chance you are talking about long-term storage, and don't want to rent a room or garage to keep your stuff in, then it would either have to be a safety deposit box e.g. at a bank (which is probably too small), or else a storage company like http://www.espazo.pt/en/ (which is aimed at larger volumes, from 2m²!).

Maz- Have you considered asking the hotel or hostel you are staying at in Lisbon to store it for you? Quite often in Portugal they will agree to store if for you if you have stayed at a place for several days. Of course it also depends on how long you ask them to store it for.
