Hello Everyone, Just a quick question- Looking to rent an apartment and was wondering if this area is good for travellers. "The apartment Estevao is situated in the city centre, 3 minutes walk to either of the metro stations Anjos or Arroios, and there is a bus stop very close by. Thank you
Hi, Arroios is the next station from Alameda direction cais do Sagre on the green line, so yes it is rather central. On that green line you have Rossio and Baixa-Chiado towards the sea.

Hi. In terms of location and trasportation it is a very good area. In safe matters, it could be safer, altough the things are geting better these days. There are some new hotels in this area, and there are very tourists around. This is not a touristic area, but there are a lot of interesting things to see here: lots of different cultures are mixed and in the same street you can find restaurants and shops from India, China, Japan, African, Brazil and many more countries. Have a nice stay

in terms of transportation this is well served area - both the bus and metro systems in terms of housing it depends... it is a very eclectic area on the overal it is a very old area (not fancy) but with some new buildings if it is on Rua José Estevão you are close to all kinds of shops, market, restaurants, and the area is a quiet neighborhood tell me if you need some more assistance (a freind of mine from Romania is living in Lisbon right now and another will come later on) cheers
