I'll stay in Lisbon this weekend and want to make a trip to Sintra and cabo do Roca. I know, that there is a train from Lisbon Entrecampos to Sintra and back, which goes frequently. The homepage http://www.cp.pt says, that I have to change once, so do you know where? Secondly I want to know, wether there are any possibilities to go from Sintra to Cabo do Roca. Someone mentioned a bus, but does anybody knows more details? And how do I manage to get back from Cabo da Roca to Lisbon at the same day?
Go to cp.pt/pesquisa/Pesquisar.asp... Enter the departure and arrival station. Click on the "View" link under "Detail & Price" to get a list of the stations and transfers. For example: For a search from "Oriente" to "Sintra" at 09h15m you'll get this webpage: cp.pt/pesquisa/Detalhe.aspx?... Cheers. RP

Thank you very much! One more question: Is the Lisbon card valid also for Scotturb? And without the card, can I buy tickets for public transports (train to Sintra and Scotturb busses) in the vehicles from the driver or conductor?

for the train you have to buy the tickets on the station, usually on machines. For the bus i don't know

Bilhete (ticket) Train & Bus: Scotturb have a day ticket for bus and train that you can buy in Lisbon on Oriente or Belem train station, for 9 euros. the ticket include the train to Sintra and all Scotturb buses except the local Cascais bus. they also have: BILHETE TURÍSTICO DIÁRIO (day ticket) just for their buses and it cost 7:72 euros this one you can buy on the bus. i think the better is to get to Sintra (by train) - one ticket about 1.3 euros, and there in tourism office they will help you with buses and the best ticket. Lisbon card is not valid for outside City transports.

there is also a train from Rossio station to Sintra that goes nonstop. If you don't want any hassle, take that route.
