    Quite hilly: see this picture to have an idea: italysquare.com/images_uploa... Of course, the walk along the lake is obviously totally flat.... All the rest is upward! Ciao Francesco

    Very hilly. It sits underneath a steep almost cliff like lakeside. You can walk north towards Riva but south is just the main highway and not for walkers. Get the boats and wander round the various lakeside villages. Probably the best walking area is above Malcesine via the cable car but it's very busy and the queue to get up can be lengthy.
