Lille Flandres station: 6 minutes enough to change trains?

by ABQ_Hugh Online Now May 11, 2007 at 1:25 PM

Hi, I'm planning to take an IC train from Antwerpen to Lille Flandres, then catch a TGV train to Paris Nord. There are only 6 minutes between when the IC train arrives and the TGV departs. From some pictures, it looks like there are 4 tracks in the Lille Flandres station. Is 6 minutes enough time to change trains? [Of course being next to the door and all ready when the train arrives] Thanks Is this enough time to change trains?

by skypilot01 Online Now Apr 18, 2007 at 1:59 PM

I am hoping in the near future to travel from Dundee, Scotland, to Lille, with the intention of visiting a war grave at Le Paradis (Paradis) near Lestrem. I can get to Lille without any problem, either by Bus, Train or Flight, but can anyone tell me what transport facilities are available from Lille to Lestrem (nr Estaires or Merville) as I do not have my own transport? Any help to solve this problem would be appreciated. Thanking you in anticipation Donald

We live in the US, and I will be bring my family to Lille from London to see the Lille v Lyon football game on Feb 17th, 2007. I cannot figure out how to get these tickets ahead of time, online, etc. Anyone have any ideas? The entire point of driving to Lille is to have my son be able to see them play, so I need to be sure we have tickets before making plans.

Cheapest way to travel from Paris to Lille

by Alracpt Online Now Nov 6, 2006 at 4:27 AM

Hello/ Salut My boyfriend and I want to go to Lille from Paris on 1st December and return to Paris the next day. We are both over 25 and under 60 and have no special redution card. I browsed the sncf site and the cheapest return ticket for two that I found was 116 Euros. I read something on the Lille 3000. Is it possible to get a better discount for the given days? Or is there any bus to be catch isntead of train? Tips from sncf experts are welcome

where could one get a lille football jersey? i've scoured the web, haven't had luck. all i've run into is the 1950s throwback jersey here: amazon.com/gp/product/B000GB... as long as it's from the actual team, i'm willing to purchase, but which websites would be best for a current jersey. thank you.

Cheap or free Car parking in Lille / se garer a Lille pour pas cher

by adelinemmc Online Now May 15, 2006 at 9:48 AM

Hi I'll be arriving in Lille by car on a Saturday morning and staying at the very centre (Parvis St Maurice). I'd like to park the car until Sunday morning as we won't need it to visit the town centre. The hotel charge a lot for parking. Can anyone suggest a safe and cheap or free place to park, even if I hace to go a bit out of the centre (as long as it's close to a tram station)? Merci A.

by barbara27 Online Now Apr 17, 2006 at 9:38 AM

We will be travelling from Paris to Brugge - but would like to spend one night somewhere in between. We would like to rent a car and just explore. We love small villages, pretty drives, quaint towns, etc. Any suggestions for spots we can explore and then stay for one night? I was thinking either in Normandy or Northern France/Lille area - somewhere close enough to drive to Brugge the next day.
