i would like to know what is the easiest way to get from the town of liege to malmedy? we do not want to rent a car and i am not able to find a way through the internet?
There are no trains to Malmedy itself. The nearest station is at Trois-Ponts, Verviers is a little further away. You can go to either from Liege by train and then get a bus (latter takes about 20 minutes). Train times, details and fares in English here: http://www.b-rail.be/main/E/ Journey to Trois-Ponts takes just under an hour, no changes. Standard one-way fare is 7.70 euro. Thank you, that is helpful. I'm still wondering if you could take a bus from Liege itself which goes to Malmedy. I'll try and check the bus timetable a bit more... Thank you

The site I gave lists no direct bus. It gives the train + bus option I suggested.
