I am pasting some hints to you:
* Getting There -- Trains frequently run to Liège from Brussels, Antwerp, Maastricht, Cologne, and Luxembourg; and on the Thalys high-speed train, via Brussels, from Paris, Amsterdam, and Cologne. Belgian Railways train information is available at tel. 02/528-28-28; www.sncb.be. The main station is Gare Guillemins, rue des Guillemins, just south of the center city. The smaller, more centrally located Liège Palais station, on rue de Bruxelles, is used by some local and connecting trains.
The main bus station is outside Gare Guillemins. Regional buses arrive from other places along the Meuse, such as Namur and Dinant (and Maastricht in Holland), and from points in the Ardennes, like Spa. Bus information is available from TEC (tel. 04/361-94-44; www.infotec.be).
* Visitor Information -- The city's Office du Tourisme is at Féronstrée 92, 4000 Liège (tel. 04/221-92-21; fax 04/221-92-22; www.liege.be). It's open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm
