Where to eat

Hi, I'll be travelling through Liège in September. Unfortunately I only have time to stay one night and will be arriving on a Sunday afternoon. I will be staying at the Etap motel but woul dlike the chance to buy some frites with mayo and also some good waffles. Can anyone recommend the places to go for these near the motel either Sunday afternoon/evening or the Monday morning? Thanks, Vince
