I'm going to Switzerland for a few days and now I decided to visit Liechtenstein too. I was planning to go from Buchs to Schaan. The bus ticket seems to be quite cheap but is it possible to walk from Buchs to Schaan? I know it's possible to take a car, but going by foot? I didn't find the information anywhere.
Walking from Buchs train station to Schaan Train station by way of Rheinstrasse and Zollstrasse is about 2,5 km , half hour.

Go to Google Maps http://maps.google.com/ Click on Get Directions Type in Buchs, Switzerland in Box A Type in Schaan, Liechtenstein in Box B Above Box A are some icons, click on the icon of a man walking. It will plot your walking route for you. I got a choice of three different walking routes, all around an hour to an hour and a quarter. Vaduz does not have a trainstation, next one is Buchs, or you take the bus from Feldkirch more
