A couple of very kind replies already under the Venice forumw - we are going to the Hotel D'annunzzio in September and as well as using this as a base for travelling about, I hope we get some pool/beach relaxation too! Has anyone travelled to venice from here? Is it easy? Any tips appreciated.
Lido should only be about a 45 minute boat ride over to Venice. I ended up there on accident one night in Venice & at night they only run on the hour.

Thanks for the kind response - you DO mean Lido De Jesolo and not "Venice Lido" don't you? I got confused initially and very nearly made a mistake when boooking our trip! A couple of boat trips would be nice!
