Any hints for Christmas in Lichtenstein?

by Kiriel Online Now Oct 15, 2006 at 4:09 PM

My family are visiting me, and are keen to have christmas in Lichtenstein... any ideas of a place we could go? I suppose we are looking for a "charming chalet" to stay in, with a restaurant nearby that we can get christmas lunch.

Thanks!

I think the best place to stay is in the tiny ski resort town of Melbun. We have friends who live there so we visited over the summer. The mountains are amazing and the atmosphere of the town is very welcoming. I found these sites on the web you may like to look at:
    english.sareis.li/Default.as...
    tourismus.li/en/navpage_list...
    southtravels.com/europe/liec...
Vaduz is the capital of Liechtenstein so you may prefer to be there if ski-ing is not your thing.
    destinia.com/guide/the-world...

    Have fun!!

Just to clarify: You asked this question in the forum for Lichtenstein in Bavaria. Is this the place you want to go to? The response refers to the country LiEchtenstein, quite a difference.
