Hi, I've came across these new rules about Tibet Permit today, although I was reading and planning this trip for about 2 weeks. I'm from Toronto and I just must go to Tibet this year, but the trip you offer doesn't fit me at all. There is a perfect trip organized by GAP Adventures that covers a little of everything I would like to se, but it cost about5,000. But this organization gathers people from all over the world and I'm not sure how these new rules will apply to them. For July they have this wonderful trip at 25% discount, but it's too risky to go in July because of the weather and because of the political instability in Tibet at that time of the year. I'm just red that in Lassa 2 monks put themselves on fire and it's getting worse and worse each year. Have to go to work now, but would like to get in touch your any canadians dreaming about Tibet as I do. Vicki

5000 is too much expensive. Go to visit Tibet Tour - www.tibettour.com, the official site of Tibet Tour Operator. They also gather the guests from all over the world. You can try them.
