hi everyone I would be coming in Leuven together with other people(about 10) and we would like to have a bike tour in Leuven and maybe in the surroundings, lasting one day. I have been looking on the websites and all i could find is renting bikes for at least 1 month. Do you have any idea how I could fulfill this plan without renting bikes for such a long period? Thanks ;)
I think the websites you have been looking at are aimed at students, not tourists/recreational users. Try here: http://www.leuven-hostel.com/fiets.html Often, bike shops hire bikes out, so you could also see Fietsen Kopen (winkels) (buying a bike, shops) on here: http://fiets.startpagina.be/ You can often hire bikes at stations but I'm not sure about Leuven. You could, of course, try contacting the tourist office.
