Hi If anyone has experienced a move to greek islands before, or even lesvos, looking for any useful information, My partner and I are well travelled, and have been to greek islands many times. We are now looking to move there for 12 months maybe longer...so work..accomodation...anything would be appreciated. We'll be driving from UK early spring 2011. need to know a good route to take. Route depends on whether you want to drive down through Italy and take a ferry e.g. from Ancona to Igoumenitsa or through Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia; try it out on www.viamichelin.com, indicating Piraeus as destination. Your employment prospects anywhere surely depend on how well you speak/read/write the local language and what qualifications/skills you have, which you don't mention.
