Best beaches in Lesvos?

Hi, we're heading off to Lesvos pretty soon and were wondering where the 'best beaches' are? I've read about Vatera and Skala Kalloni but wondered if anyone else had any other preferences? Also, looking for good snorkelling areas.

    A good few years since we were there but we really rated Sigri, lots of great beaches around here, and Skala Eressos. Have a look at my Lesvos pages.

    Try: Petra, Skala Eresou, Agios Ermogenis, Vatera, Agios Issidoros I wouldn't suggest Skala Kallonis.
