Manali to Leh from 8 to 15th August ?

Hi Members, I am from Gurgaon, I am planning to visit Leh in August, from 10 to 20 August. I alongwith my brother are planning to drive in a Maruti-800 from Delhi-Manali-Leh in a three day stretch. As far as we know it is very hard to drive on Manali Leh Road, in a Maruti 800. And we are prepared for bad weather , rains etc. and road condition. We request, especially Ladaqspa, to give us detailed (lengthy :-) information) on road condition and what precaution we should take for this trip. Also we have only 3-4 days at Leh, we are not sure what to see and what not. Pls advise. Thanks mk26in
