i will b making my first trip to legaspi with family on 7 dec 2007. i heard it is the typhoon season . is it safe to visit legaspi during this time of the year? also i am not able to book any hotel in legaspi on the internet. can any kind soul supply me with the website of any hotel in legaspi.... otherwise i may have to sleep on the streets! thanks for yr help!

You are right it is Typhoon season and it will be wet. Not the best time to go. But saying that, it is a friendly city and Mayon is spectaacular. here is a sight to look at for accomodation jenspeters.com/internet_eng/... Just copy and paste it to get some hotels good luck jchills
