I would like to validate my impression that the falls are not open to visits at this time of the year (December). Are there any other falls who can be visited at this time in the near area? Thank you so much, Miri

I asume you mean the Trümmelbach Falls? It is winter. They are indeed closed in winter. It's winter season, so that means that the skilifts are open, but the traditional summer attractions are all closed.

Just remember that snow needs to melt in order to create waterfalls. In the winter anywhere in the world if the temperature is below freezing the water will also freeze.
