Due to circumstances beyond my control I only have 1 day to spend in this gorgeous place so I need to know how to spend it. Please give me some suggestions for a jam-packed itinerary so that I can squeeze all (or as many as I can) of the must-see places in in one whole day. Thanks in advance.
You could consider just hiking the valley and visiting Trummelbach Falls. If the weather is clear, you could go to the Top of Europe (Jungfrauloch) - wonderful views, an ice cave and great restaurant or Schiltorn (the 007 place); also if you just hike around, you can take either a train or gondola and go to Wengen or Murren, two car-free towns up on the sides of the Lauterbrunnen Valley. I spent a week there last summer and loved the place.

Berninaexpress is great, BUT dont expect too much from the "goldenPass" many of these trains wont do what they pretend... more
