We booked rooms here for mid February, bringing 2 small dogs. How is the place or is there somewhere better you would suggest?

Don't stay at the Riverside. It's old and DIRTY. Laughlin really isn't a place for dogs, I would suggest leaving them home if possible. I hear that it's a 1/4 mile walk to the doggie area. If you choose to leave the dogs at home, I would suggest staying at the Flamingo or Harrah's. Most of the other resorts are pretty good. The Edgewater had a facelift. I hear that the Colorado Belle needs some updating. The only downside to the Ramada Express, most rooms don't have a river view. We've beem going to Laughlin since 1993, 3-4 times a year, so we're very familiar with the area. Good Luck
