I'm planning a Vegas trip in April and intend splitting hotels between the Strip and Downtown. For the Strip I've more or less decided on Barbary Coast on the basis of reasonable cost and good location. For Downtown I am looking at the Golden Nugget and there seems to be quite a big difference between North and South Tower rooms (the North being more expensive). The descriptions of the rooms look identical and the only difference I can see looking through reviews is that the South Tower rooms may have a longer walk to the casino. Does anyone know of any reason to pay extra for the North Tower. Cheers Clive
