Urgent - Ideas for bringing in the New Year in Las Palmas please

We are on holiday now in the Tryp Iberia but there is no New Year celebrations going on in here tonight. Has anyone any suggestions for us to bring in the New Year. We are a middle aged couple who enjoy good food and music but too old for clubbing. We would appreciate any information or suggestions. Maybe some other hotels have something on that we could go to.
