We're staying at a hotel in Larnaca for 2 weeks in May. Is a rental car needed or should we just use local transportation?

Please help me with some info, I will arrive in Larnaca at the first days of October,I would like to know what time will be dark in the beggining of October,.how's the weather then and one more question....I will arrive at 21 time at Larnaca airport, until what time will be buses avialable, and what number of the bus is arriving to Dhekelia Road-po Box 40741 ? Hey, I'll be in Larnaca for two days, June 21 & 22, there are a few things in Larnaca I have planned but my flight to Cairo is not until 7pm my last day so I am trying to decide between the UNESCO Painted Churches, the UNESCO Choirokoitia or maybe even Nicosia or Ayai Napa.I don't think I will have time to do any type of organized tour with the time restraint unless I do it my first day. Any suggestions or even other alternatives are welcomed. Or should I just stay at the beach and wander around Larnaca?

I'll go to Larnaca for a week in June. I'd like to know if there is any bus going directly between Larnaca and Paphos.

Some friends were not completely satisfied with the easyHotel in Larnaca although the staff is helpful. It does not include breakfast, and it can be noisy at nights from the noise outside. Do you think I should book here? I still find it the cheapest.

Please advise how to go to salt Lake from the port of Larnaca ? Any interest to see next week ? Or if I have a full day ashore in Larnaca could I go to Nicosia by bus on my own ? Or just stay in Larnaca and visit the city. Thanks for your opinion.

Hi im going to Larnaca towards the middle of January. Can anyone give me some advice. Whats the weather like mid to end January. How much are taxis from the airport to Pyla and do i have to haggle the price? Are the taxi drivers happy to stop at supermarkets along the way. Reason im asking this is because there arent any major shops, as far as im aware in Pyla and ill be getting there around 7pm. Im not hiring a car, so would need supplies etc, as im self catering. If anyone has been to Pyla, would also be great to know what its like and dos and donts. any advice would be really helpful..thanks

Im wondering about the following thing's 1.is it possible to sail to either Greece or Turkey from Larnaca and if so how nuch wud it roughly cost. 2.Is there many problems if I crossed over into northern Cyprus and would we have any hassle coming back into southern Cyprus( do I need a visa,as im Irish). 3.How expensive is Cyprus,eg food,drink,taxis from airport to hotel. 4.Are there any good niteclubs and are there any Irish bar's?. They are on 1, Armenikis Eklisias Str.,. any info on this location. this is what they told me "Only 10 minutes drive from Larnaca International Airport, conveniently located in the heart of Larnaca." thanks in advance
