A friend and I will be visiting Laoag city by plane this coming April(Holy week). We will arrive at the international airport around 9:00 PM. So I'm thinkin' if there are still public transportation which could take us to the hotel we booked(Balay da Blas) which isn't so far from the airport.The hotel charges P500.00 one-way transfer which I think is a rip-off! I'm a local traveler and I think it's expensive for just about 15 minutes ride.Anyone who has been to Laoag city recently? Pls give your comments/suggestion/s. Many thanks!!
i have been to laoag city days ago and i think there are tricycles from gabu airport to the city proper. the usual fare is P100 pesos according to a friend who lives there (since we have a friend who has a car, we didnt take public transpo)... if it's night, maybe the trike will charge a bit higher than the usual. but u can always negotiate or ask the help of the airport personnel as to its standard price. i enjoyed ilocos.. hope ul have a great time as well. =)
