I am travelling to Michaigan State University on 19/05/06. Can anyone advise me as to what i should pack, given that the weather looks hot and humid? I would also like a little bit of information about things to do at Lake Michigan and "The Maritime Centre"! The clock is ticking, Help!!!
It's hard to know what the weather will be like in two weeks, but I would guess that the temperatures will be fairly warm during the day, though you should also be prepared for some cooler temperatures at evening. Lansing/East Lansing are inland, will you be spending any time at the lakeshore? At this time of the year, it's often much cooler by Lake Michigan or Lake Huron, and it can be foggy in the evening as well. Be sure to bring an umbrella - there could be heavy thunderstorms with major downpours at this time of year!

Thankyou for you reply. I have just received my itinerary and it appears that we are also visiting Capitol Building and the museum and even going to a Lansing Lug nuts baseball game. Any bits of info would be much appreciated.
