      Looking for an apartment

      Argelès-sur-Mer Apr 20, 2013 at 3:33 AM

      Hello,

I am looking for an apartment in (or near) Argeles-Sur-Mer. I am planning a beach/hiking holiday in this region.

The apartment should have private bathroom/toilet and a reasonably well equipped kitchen. A balcony or small place to sit outside is a must.

Preferable on walking distance from the beach.

It should have (free) car parking nearby.

Maybe somebody here has a great place that they can recommend?

      Cheers, Dennis

Opinions/suggestions on Carcassonne and its surrounding areas

      Carcassonne Apr 16, 2013 at 11:59 PM

Hi, my husband and I and our 1month+ baby will be travelling to Montpellier soon. We will be in Montpellier for 2.5 weeks due to my husband's work schedule. While we are there, we would like to explore Southern France a little.

We will arrive in Montpellier in the morning after travelling from Asia. We have about 3 nights to go around before we stay put in Montpellier. Is it a good idea to drive to Carcassonne from Montpellier, use it as a base for the next 3 nights and travel out during day time? I am looking at some wine areas as well. Somewhere rustic, with characters, natures...

      Thank you in advance.

    • Where can I buy a new suitcase in Montpellier Centre?

      Montpellier Apr 6, 2013 at 1:38 AM

An un-named budget airline somehow managed to destroy my very sturdy suitcase (it no longer has wheels or handles!) one the journey here and I would like to buy a new suitcase for my return journey.

This is neccessary as I am on crutches so I need a suitcase I can wheel around, and can claim the cost on my company expenses if I buy it here (this is a work-trip).

Answer needed ASAP as I leave soon!

      Many thanks in advance.

We're sailing at du Midi from Cassafieres to Castelnaudary and then plan to rent a car and drive up to Paris. I've failed to find a rent-a-car in Castelnaudary. Could you advise me what is the closest facility where I can go by taxi and return with a car to pick up my family and friends?

    • San Sebastian to Perpignan

      Languedoc-Roussillon Mar 23, 2013 at 2:04 AM

      hello again
I am trying to make a route plan, trying to squeeze in 10 days approx 3 cities that I want to see -Bilbao, San Sebastian and then, though it is France,or for others, Northern Catalunya, Perpignan. The cheapest way to fly for me is to Madrid and take a bus or train to Bilbao -and then leave from Barcelona that is very close to Perpignan. I cant seem to find a reasonable way (except for renting a car, that is out of the question for budget reasons) for the San Sebastian -Perpignan bit. I thought would be easy to get an overnight train and just sleep along but I cant find anything. Any help will be appreciated /thanx

OK for naturist couple with a child? Where abouts can you go around naked?

      Le Cap d'Agde Mar 1, 2013 at 5:26 AM

      Hi,

I would love to spend 2 weeks at Cap d'Adge. I have two questions:

      1) We are not into swingers lifestyle etc. We would like to go there just enjoying being naked. And we will be there with or 1 year old son. However, I am hearing a lot of "public sex" etc. Is that really the case?

      2) Where about, in Cap d'Adge, can you go around naked? You can say "all of it", but I am trying to figure it out in terms of actual Google Map boundaries... can somebody help?

      Thank you!

    • 2 weeks in south of France over winter - tips on itinerary, food, etc!

      Languedoc-Roussillon Nov 2, 2012 at 6:35 PM

Hi, 2 of us will be flying into Lyon and plan to spend 2 weeks down south (over Xmas and NY). Since it will be winter, Provence/southeast France with its beaches may not seem to be such a good idea. So we have decided to go Languedoc/Bordeaux. - any tips on where we must or should go? We definitely want to go Lourdes, and if time permits, to Bilbao/San Sebastian even. We are planning to travel by train....... - any point in going for wine tours in Bordeauxover winter? - any other must do, must eat, in the region? We are avid gourmets... :) Thanks all!
