I have another question about the Lancaster area. What kinds of bugs do you have? My main concern is spiders (I'm extremely arachnophobic). Are they a big problem? Are they large or just normal-sized? Thanks for your answers in advance
Just for a moment I thought you might be asking about Lancaster, England, here, Judy. Just as well you weren't - here, we have spiders the size of small ponies! (-;

Spiders are common in the northeast. I live about 2 hours from Lancaster. Daddy Long Leg spiders are quite common. There are some larger spiders, but seeing them are very very rare.

Not too many spiders in Lancaster. I'm scared of them too and wasn't bothered to much when I lived there for. Much worse in upstate New York. I did notice a lot of centipedes in Lancaster though.
