Winter clothes in Lancaster

by squirt55 Online Now Sep 16, 2004 at 3:53 PM

Me, my husband and our teenage son are moving to Lancaster in October from Albuquerque, NM. Needless to say, the winters are not exceptionally cold here, though jackets are required. Can anyone advie me as to what kind of clothing, outerwear and footwear we need to purchase to survive a Lancaster winter? Any help would be appreciated

The last 2 winters in Pennsylvania have been quite harsh. It really depends year to year. You need to have warm clothing, a good durable winter jacket, fleece, and etc. It is not as harsh as some areas of the United States. However, you can count on a couple of days with highs in the 20s and lows near 0. Generally, Winter highs are in the 30s and 40s with lows in the 10s and 20s.
