Re: where we are stayin
Stateline, Nevada, in my opinion, is an area that is an overall decline. Gambling at Indian casinos in California has made it more difficult for many places to stay in business. Harvey's Casino is one of the older places in Stateline. A nice casino but I wouldn't stay in the hotel. Rooms are dated to The rooms are dated, some a little shabby and there are a lot of folks in the lobby trying to sell you things like timeshares in exchange for table cash. On the plus side some of the rooms have nice views of the lake and the Friday night seafood buffet is still great. However you would be much better off staying across the street at Harrah's where the rooms are nicer and more up to date. Even if it is a few dollars more stay at Harrah's or even consider the Lakeside Inn and Casino which is not far away.
