we are 5 students from leeds planning for a trip to lake district for 3 nights 4 days and planning to take a cottage.We are going there for one of our mate's bday !planning for outdoor activites..i know its a off season to do outdoor activites !! can u suggest me places we can visit in lake district..have been reading abt some places ..a bit confused,there's a loads of them..loooks like everything is worth a watch !! we r looking into activites like para sailing,sky diving,biking,mountain climbing( basic ),sailing..etc :) which is the best place to book a cottage ??so that it will be a common point to all the places we visit.We a planning for this trip some where in the first week of march..waiting for ur reply :)cheers!!
we have booked cottages and chalets at both these internets sites and they have been great. http://www.country-holidays.co.uk www.hartsop-fold.co.uk Hartsop is a small site but it is very close to Windermere and that is a very good centre for everything in the Lake District. We had a great time there. Have a good trip
