I m reaching Lahore soon and will land Inshaa-Allah at 1:40 am. Want to know if there are any safe taxis available at airport keeping in mind to travel at that time of night. Should i wait at airport for dawn or it will be OK to travel to daewoo bus terminal at that time? What are approximate charges for airport to bus terminal?

Hi All Im travelling to Lahore from the UK with the family and will stay in lahore for a few days.. I have 2 kids 9 and 6 and would like some recomendations of things to do which are good for kids and also for adults at the same time. Would like to see Alot of lahore like Shalimar gardens, wagah etc but dont want the kids bored for the 2 days. Also whats restaurants/fast food places are family/child friendly Thanks

Hi Will be staying in Lahore for around 2 nights and 3 days. any place to keep the kids happy have seen sozo water park, but doesnt have to be on that scale any advice welcome. Hi. I am a British woman and have been invited to a wedding in Lahore at the end of April 2011, with the option of spending one week in Lahore. The bride is a British friend and the groom British Pakistani and I will be staying in his family home. I would welcome some advice about the safety of foreigners at the moment, especially in light of recent events which have been covered by the media. Could you please give me some information ? * Recently does border open normaly ? when is the closing time ? * Does whole procedure take long time to cross both border ? * I might have big luggage for the souvenirs for my friends Pakistani family. To where Porters from Indian side can come with me ? * There is PTDC motel at Wagah. Where is the exact location, how far from the border ? I mean, from the end of the place where porters can come ? As I want to make there as meeting place with my friends. My friends are not Local there so they don't know details. * To see the border closing ceremony, do I need to buy the ticket ? Hello, everybody, Haven't visited here for sometime, but I am planning to visit Pakistan again, this time going India at the same time together. I haven't decided to visit witch side first, just I would like to know how much is the flight between Lahore and Delhi. I think still only PIA has the flight, doesn't they ? I can't find the flight fare in my country. Anybody knows how much does it cost ? both one way,and return ? If possible I want to know the fare in Indian side, and Pakistani side, too. I asked PIA service center by e mail, but they don't reply ! I also try to find Airlines that fly to both Lahore and Delhi. So far I can find only Thai Airways. Singapore Airlines seems to stop operations to Lahore. Air China and AirLanka only fly to Karachi. Uzbekistan Airways still has flight ? I would thank you so much if you let me know the information.

I am planning on visting Lahore in March / April. Can anyone recommend any good, clean, reasonablly priced places to stay? The hotels seem to be quite expensive. I've heard Guest Houses are usally good and reasonably priced. Has anyone stayed at a good Guest House in Lahore that they can recommend? I remember there was a motel on the main road across from the Echison College. Is that any good and does anyone have a contact number for them or know what there rates are like? Thanks.
