I was offered a Manager role in one of the multinational companies in Lagos. They want me to come for 5 800 000 naira. Is that a good basic pay for Lagos? Plus they will cover extra accommodation and transport
I am a lady and considering that i will be moving from London want to make sure that i am taking this risk for something fair..
Any insight would be helpful
I am a British Citizen and Passport holder. I am currently in Dubai and want to visit some friends in Nigeria ( I lived and worked there for almost 12 years ). Rather than return all the way back to the UK can i obtain a visit visa upon arrival at Lagos Airport.
Hi everyone, I will be going to Lagos and then to the eastern part for my dear friend's funeral. I plan on staying in VI. Is there anyone travelling alone also that need the company as I will do so as well. I am leaving from the UK.
I'm planning a trip to Abuja, and I found a flight to Lagos and then I have to buy a ticket on a domestic flight to Abuja. Can you please tell me how to transfer between the domestic and international terminals? I heard they're 1km apart and transfers are on foot only!

I will be traveling to South Africa next month and will be transferring from the US through Lagos onto South Africa. Can anyone tell me if I will need a visa in Lagos? I do not plan on leaving the airport but was told that I still might need a visa.
Don't laugh please! Met a girl online three months ago who is in Benin and who is a US citizen working there in a UNICEF charity as an accountant. I am bringing her here to Texas for a relationship, etc. She will fly out of Lagos next week to Dallas. I asked her how much money she needs just for personal expenses not the airfare. She said it is required that she have1,000 for Due Procedures with her in case of emergency. She has a US passport. I don't believe this story and it is not the money because I had planned to send her some anyhow but I do not want to be scammed. Is this possibly true? Thanks and again, do not laugh!
Hi guys, after reading the reviews on Lagos nightlife i noticed alot of the post are pretty outdated.

I could have a job opportunity, therefore I shoud have to move to Lagos...
I've read in this web-site that the situation there is not the best... I mean, I should move with my family (wife and child) and what I've read I'm not relax at all... I'm concern about that people are not friedly or better they will be friendly just because they will plan to "stab your back"...
I would like to ask also what about prices? Food? I mean normal stuff that human being needs every day....
I will be very grateful to who wants to clear my thoughts.

is anybody planing to travel to Nigeria in March?
I'm going to Abuja via Lagos in a couple of weeks. I'll be arriving on an international flight into Lagos (LOS) and then connecting on a connecting flight from LOS to Abuja. I have a few questions which I would appreciate your help with:
1. I'm considering Arik Air for the domestic flight. Is it considered a reliable airline? as in on time departures?
2. I want to buy the domestic flight ticket online. How much time should I leave between arriving into LOS and departing from the domestic terminal in LOS? Is one hour sufficient as I only have carry on luggage.
3. Is the domestic terminal attached to the international terminal or do I need to take a taxi? Which taxi is the official one?
I go to Nigeria in November for three weeks and might need to change some Euros, since I don't have enough USD with me (I'm already on the road). I read one should not take anything else than USD into Nigeria, but I am wondering if it is still hard to get Naria for Euros...
Anyone had experiences in changing Euros? If yes, where? What about the rate?
THanks a lot,
I have been told by some people that you must pay a1900 fee to leave lagos no matter what airline you use for your departure. Othes have said that the 1900 dollar fee is a scam.
I would like to know the truth. Is this true or is it a scam?
Thank you for your reply....
Do I Really Need to Take Anti-Malaria Tablets In Lagos ?
I can hardly imagine that in the (such big) city of Lagos there are malaria-mosquitos in such a number and such active like outside the city. Can I survive my 2 Weeks stay in Lagos without concerns about malaria.? I don't like to use medecine, if it is not necessary. I cannot imagine, all Europeans and Americans on working contract in Lagos taking anti-malaria for a duration of months or even years of contract...

Is it true you have to have a certain amount of money to show at the airport before they will let you into Lagos Nigeria?
Can you give me any directions? I have lived in Lagos for a month, Lekki phase I.
No special requirements are observed here. In fact, what most of the girls who frequent these places were would make your hair stand attention.
Can somebody shed some light on this??? Is it not advisable to go to a bar in Lagos?
I'm traveling to Shagamu in a few weeks and flying into Lagos. I will be staying for one week. I have never been to Nigeria before so here are my questions:
1. Cash or credit card?
2. What is the exchange ratio for naira to the u.s. dollar?
2. What are the names of some good hotels in Lagos? (I may need to stay 1 or 2 nights in Lagos).
3. Are there any decent hotels near the airport in Lagos?
You mention that people carry large amounts of cash notes with them..You also say that these notes develop an unattractive smell to them. Does this mean that credit cards are not readily accepted? Is cash money the only way to pay for things in Lagos? It is not possible to use a credit card instead of cash?
Thank you for any help that you can give me.
How is the transport Lagos-Cameroon? Is there a traintrack? What does it cost?
