Lagos

by Joka&Bucks Online Now May 26, 2012 at 11:13 AM

Hi folks, I could have a job opportunity, therefore I shoud have to move to Lagos... I've read in this web-site that the situation there is not the best... I mean, I should move with my family (wife and child) and what I've read I'm not relax at all... I'm concern about that people are not friedly or better they will be friendly just because they will plan to "stab your back"... I would like to ask also what about prices? Food? I mean normal stuff that human being needs every day.... I will be very grateful to who wants to clear my thoughts. Best regards

hello prices on commodities are very good. about having fear in going there its depends on the kind of life style you live there. if you live a very defensive and a normal life know one will harm you its just a matter of extra carefulness.

Hi, frist of all thank you for your answer, I mean, what I know about this crowd city is what the net offered me... All videos on You Tube are not encouraging, the same web-site where we are writing I didn't find good reviews. I'm a bit worried, I mean I'm a positive guy but after all this negative things... I am an engineer and the salary will be pretty high but it's not that I mean, what will do my wife and my son during the day??? At home all day? Have a nice day.

My good friend put away all fears as an engineer you client will see to it that you have a good resident to stay and at a fine conducive environment. your family are safe as they also do their normal activities. those video and the articles you see are all captured at one centered area us every country has. for example the ghettos.

Many of my friends had a chance to travel to Lagos recently since we are all work for a major airlines as a crew member. Some of us has no choice, when we are call to fulfill our duty, we have to go. I've been one of the fortunate one. Thank GOD. Yesterday I was told, one of my friends had Malaria when she returned from Lagos and has been hospitalized for a week now, she is going to fine, since the Malaria was caught at the early stage. Few weeks ago, another friend came back from Lagos with an insect bite on her leg, later some of the flesh had to be removed because it was so infected by insect eating flesh. On our layovers we stay at a 5 star hotel. Stay indoors in air conditioning rooms. Limo service from the airport to the hotel. Yet these people are still get infected by these diseases. My question to you is, are you willing to risk your health and your family's health for MONEY?..Being an engineer you can a job anywhere. 3 of my family members are engineers. They are doing fine with a job in the US..Money isn't everything. Health and happiness are more important.

All these insects bites and malaria can be avoided if you are careful about where, how, and when you expose yourself to the public around evenings. The mosquito's only get out in the nights. there is no way you can tell me if you are staying in a clean and manage flats or estate and villas and and get malaria. its not common.

Firstly Lagos has plenty of well paid employment, hence why the guy has a job offer thier. you can compare Lagos to anywhere you like in the world but you will be suprised to find that there are many parts of Lagos which you dont see on TV where people live a higher quality of life than those in the UK and Europe. Point two, your friend catching Malaria is out of her own ignorance ive been to lagos and i did not catch it....why? because i took the necessary precaution i.e Anti malarial drugs, deet mosquito repellent and a MOSQUITO NET it doesnt matter whether you stay in a remote village or 5* Hotel, the malaria parasite does not discriminate! and as for the flesh eating bug thats the first im hearing of it, but she probably went into the sea at the beach or something. once again she should have done her reaserch before traveling.
