My question to you is, are you willing to risk your health and your family's health for MONEY?..Being an engineer you can a job anywhere. 3 of my family members are engineers. They are doing fine with a job in the US..Money isn't everything. Health and happiness are more important.

The mosquito's only get out in the nights. there is no way you can tell me if you are staying in a clean and manage flats or estate and villas and and get malaria. its not common.

Firstly Lagos has plenty of well paid employment, hence why the guy has a job offer thier. you can compare Lagos to anywhere you like in the world but you will be suprised to find that there are many parts of Lagos which you dont see on TV where people live a higher quality of life than those in the UK and Europe. Point two, your friend catching Malaria is out of her own ignorance ive been to lagos and i did not catch it....why? because i took the necessary precaution i.e Anti malarial drugs, deet mosquito repellent and a MOSQUITO NET it doesnt matter whether you stay in a remote village or 5* Hotel, the malaria parasite does not discriminate! and as for the flesh eating bug thats the first im hearing of it, but she probably went into the sea at the beach or something. once again she should have done her reaserch before traveling.
