Sunrise at Lake Como

Where is the best place to take in the sunrise? I am staying in Bellagio and would like to get up early and enjoy the view. Also, is it possible to rent a small boat with an outboard motor to explore the lake? Where might I go to do so? And any recommendations on the best hiking area? Thanks - I've only got about a day and a half so I want to do as much as I can!

Bellagio faces west across the lake and is best for sunsets. Directly across the lake are Menaggio and Tremezzo (sp) facing the sunrise across the lake. The width of the Bellagio area is quite narrow - ask your hotel if there is a hiking trail or road across to the west shore of the eastern limb of Lake Como. Bellagio is gorgeous. Enjoy.
