hi, does anybody know how much time it would take me to go from Cuzco to Titicaca? also, what is there to do once i get there? and, will 2 nights be enough to get the gist of it? lastly, can i "use" the couple of nights in Titicaca as my altitude acclimatization? Thanks for any help md
By bus or car, it is between 4.5 and 5.5 hours. The train takes over 10 hours. Puno is the main town on the Peru side of Titicaca, and is worth a couple of nights. Puno is higher than Cusco, but may help acclimatise if you were going on to the Altiplano in Bolivia, which is higher again.
