Thinking of booking a trip to La Romana in July and was wondering if anyone could tell me if there are a lot of bugs that time of year? Thank, Deb
With no AC in my room and could not close windows- in July- August- in Altos de Chavon the mosquitos were Horrible! I put on so much repellant I took 6 showers a day to have my skin breathe- I found that "Autan"- a German repellant worked the best- but I had no AC remember- so this was the real problem- had flies too- lots-
