Hello, We are traveling to Gerona by tain in the 2nd week of Sept, and have been quoted 55 euros each way to get to the campsite Castell Monitgri. Can anyone tell me if there is a train or a bus that would be cheaper. Thanks.
I can tell you it would be an awkward journey for public transport, because of the location of Girona airport wrt to Toroella and L'Estartit. (Toroella de Montgri). But for €110 you could hire a car for the week! Have you shopped around on transfers? I can tell you it's a great area though.

The bus service stops outside the campsite,cheaper than the taxi.How ever 55 euro seems ok to me we,ve been give 70 euro for the airport to estartit.going back to your bus service.............its the ampsa bus service,that stops....the other [ a blue colour coach ]stops in the town. Used lots of times.
