hello fellow vt-ers, will be doing a short trip starting from fukuoka, then proceeding on to nagasaki, kumamoto, mt aso, beppu before taking the overnight ferry to osaka/kyoto/tokyo. May i know what is the temperature like, which city is the coldest or warmest in the abovementioned list? will be travelling with a 2.5yr toddler, any advise? thanks!
As you didn't mention when you visit those cities, I'll post this webpage. You can at least know the temperature in Osaka, Tokyo and Fukuoka. Nagasaki and Kumamoto are almost same or a bit warmer than Fukuoka. Mt. Aso would be the coldest because of high altitude.

Hi llgirl, i'll be travelling end april, and i saw from another vter's post that the average temp in april is around 15degrees? how thick cold weather wear would i need? its better to layer right? in case of frequent weather/temp changes? is a leather jacket, with a thin sweater inside enough? or a denim jacket with a thin sweater is enough? are these cities i mentioned windy?

April will be getting warmer. +15C does sound possible when the sun is out. You don't say were you are from, so its hard to say what clothes you would feel comfortable in.
