what is the best (i.e. cheapest) way to travel to beppu from england? should i go via Dubai and then somewhere like Osaka to get a train to kyushu/beppu? any suggestions are welcome
The nearest airport is Fukuoka, and then you can take a JR train from Fukuoka to Beppu with a 2-hour journey time by a super express train. If you use Narita airport, you had better take a Shinkansen (bullet train) from Tokyo to Fukuoka.
