Anyone else going to be In Kyoto?

I will be traveling to Japan from July 5th to August 4th and I am looking to hopefully meet people. I will be traveling alone so any company is nice. If you will be in Kyoto at some point during the month please tell me hopefully someone who can speak english I am learning Japanese but I am not all that great just good enough to get around and have a basic conversation.
