Question about in tani house annex

Hi all I just got a room at the Tani House Annex in downtown Kyoto, has anyone been to the Annex? PLease let me know what your opinion is, is it more like a hostel, hotel or ryokan. From the info there are only two rooms in the annex? Again i do not know about it but it seems like a really good deal especially with my own bathroom.I assume there is no curfew. thanks for any advice
