I am planning to follow my Dad's path during WW2 with the US Navy in the Pacific in the Marshall & Gilbert Islands. Are the battle site accessable and what web site do it use to apply for the travel permit.
While the Marshal Islands remain a US dependency, the Gilberts are now an independent country called Kiribati. Google Kiribati for more information.
