I would be in Kuala Lumpur on 2nd of June from 10pm to 6am. Any place/shop/mall open around that time to do some shopping for electronics?
I'm considering to visit Malaysia with family in June, for 7 nights , and would appreciate your kind advice on the following:-
1) How i manage my trip i also want to go Lankavi.
2) Accommodation you would recommend - any star but safe, friendly and comfortable in the range of 100 Rangats.
3) Transfer from airport to accommodation - how do I get there?
4) Things you would recommend I do? Moderate activity.
5) where to stay means in which area ?
7) Any other advice you deem useful for us.
Thank you! :-)

Can anyone please tell me the names of the most recently opened 5* hotels in KL?
I am posting this question here to enable a wider reach. The Australian immigration website states an ETA costs A$20 but an agent, easyeta.com, is charging RM30. Has anyone used it before? Are there any hidden charges? Thanks.
Hi I am an indian national with indian passport. I will be travelling to KL from India and staying for a week there. In between I want to visit Singapore for 3 days and return to KL and then to India. My questions:
1. If I shop in Singapore, do I need to pay duties at KL airport during my return to KL from Singapore?
2. Do i need seperate visa for Maylaysia and Singapore?
Dear all,
My name is Kaylie and I am a 20 year old student from the Netherlands who will be visiting Kuala Lumpur for 6 months for my internships. During this time will I be working full time in down town KL, which means that I do not have to possibility to do activities which take more than 1 day. I was wondering if some locals would be able to help me with some great ideas for small day trips. ;) I would love to visit an orphanage and donate some daily necessities to them (toiletries, childrens clothes, towels). Does anyone have experience or would like to help me find an ophranage which allows this?
Kind regards from cold & always rainy Holland :)
Kaylie
Hello,
In October I will study for 1 semester in KL. Therefore I'd like to live in a luxury apartment (around City Centre). I already found some hotels: Regalia and the Pertama Residency. Both are costing around 1500-200 RM per month in this is also the maximum of my budget.
But can anyone help me me in finding more alternatives? What are the possibilites besides the Regalia and P.R?
best whishes from Germany,
chris

I live in Perth, Western Australia and going to Malaysia in April. I have been searching the websites of Malaysia Tour Packages. There are heaps but no one is prepared to assist a single traveller. All bookings are for min of 2 persons and some are 4 or more and you are responsible for organising your own group.
Does anyone know of any travel agent over in Malaysia that takes bookings for one traveller. I mean I am prepared to pay extra but not full payment of 2 people. I have email to the tour providers but no one seems keen.
Any suggestions guys? Otherwise I will have to book from Perth ... which means, triple the cost ....
I feel discriminated again ... sole traveller

Hi! I will have just the night to spend in KL and would like to stay close to the airport. I have not found anything good close by though - one nearby hotel is super expensive (Sama Sama) and another one is affordable but has many bad reviews (Concorde). There is a father away B&B which is nice (Rumah Putih), but sounds like it takes 20-30 min to get there by taxi - probably not ideal for an early flight. Anything else you know of?
Thank you!
Hi,
On August 28th we are going to Malaysia and start on a volunteering programme on the 3rd of September at Kuching. Therefore, we still have some days left to fill in.
Our plan; Day 1: Kuala Lumpur Day 2: Kuala Lumpur + Bhatu Caves (evening flight to Langkawi) Day 3; Langkawi Day 4; Langkawi (afternoon boat to Penang or maybe flight) Day 5; Penang Day 6; Penang (afternoon flight to Kuching)
We can also go to other places other then Langkawi or Penang, but it is hard to chose. What do you recommend? Is it worth it to see both Langkawi and Penang?
Thanks!
Just sussing my transfer from LCCT to Sentral and see Skybus do it
Also appear,s if you show your AAsia tix or soft copy on phone they waiver the cost
Wondering if other VT,ers have experienced this????

Hi! Does anyone know a centrally located and hotel that's also budget-friendly? I mean one that has easy access to public transportation esp KLIA-city center and near the shopping area. I've been to KL more than 7 yrs ago and this time i want to be more familiar with the city and visit more places as much as possible. Thanks for the info.
