Easy to get long distance taxi from Klang?

by sci70550 Online Now Jun 29, 2012 at 7:17 AM

I will be staying in Family Hotel: 26A, Lebuh Gopeng, Klang, MY 41400. And when I check out, I will be travelling by long distance taxi to Jalan Damai Laut, Teluk Senangin 32200 Lumut, Malaysia. I understand that there is long distance and town taxi in Malaysia. Is it easy to get long distance taxi from Family Hotel? Or do I need to call for long distance taxi?

Klang to Lumut is actually not far if you travel by coastal trunk road, heading North from Klang。You may ask your hotel to call for a taxi or ask for their suggestion. Welcome and enjoy your stay in Klang and Lumut.

    > I understand that there is long distance and town taxi in Malaysia. Correct! FYI most towns have a long distance taxi stand. If you get the number for the Klang long distance taxi stand from your hotel, you may be able to arrange for them to come and pick you up at your hotel. Ohterwise, you will have to find your way to the taxi stand. Please note most long distance taxis operate per pax basis. Or you can rent the whole taxi = the individual cost x 4pax. If you want to rent a whole taxi, I can recommend my long distance taxi guy to you (please vtmail me if interested, for his name and mobile no.). FYI I use him to go to Ipoh from KL and he provided very good service to a couple from the UK who needed to go to Lumut from KL. I'm sure he could do the same for you, too, but he will charge you per taxi.
