I will be in k.l. for almost a week.Will be travelling with two children.Will someone tell me if corus hotel on jalan ampang is clean and hygenic.(the reviews that i read on the net are awful).also tell me if it is conveniently located.i need to confirm my booking here or elsewhere so please reply as soon as possible. Hi, Corus hotel is a good one.I have not there personnaly but my friend has been there. Also check out the reviews at www.holidaycity.com You can find some good reviews about all the major hotels. I would advice you that better book a hotel in Bukit Bintang area as it is the main happening place in KL and you would save money travelling from the towers to the golden triangle. I am travelling in Feb and i booked the hotel Dorsett Regency. Its a good hotel and the rating is around 3.5-4 star. Hope this helps. Regards, Arpit

Hi, Hope I am not late in contributing feedback. My family stayed in Corus last Oct for 2 nights. You can just park your car at the hotel for free (if you drive there) and walk to the Twin Tower which is only 5 minutes walk from Corus. If you want to go to Bt Bintang, then catch a bus from the bus stop right in front of the Twin Tower, the bus fare is cheaper then the train and save you quite a bit of walking. I can't recall the bus service number, but you can get the service number from any bus conductors at the bus stop. Apart from the convenient location, we got a delux room, which was spacious with a big balcony with a view of the Twin Tower. Although the room was clean in general, it did look old and need some refurbishment. The room toilet also looked old but clean. Hope my feedback is useful to you. Cheers.

I would second Melaka. You can take a bus there from SG and then head off to KL from there. Stay at Hotel Puri in Melaka... more
Just tell the hotel your flight number and your ETD and that should suffice. more
