What is the best month to visit in terms of concerts and street markets between June and September?
Krakow is lively year-round with markets and concerts and a zillion other attractions and so there's no particular month to go for things. Maybe avoid peak season tho' - July/August.

Agree with the above: Krakow is a very popular place (I'll be there again in a couple of weeks) with no one 'better' month to visit. Markets certainly happen year-round...that's what markets generally do (unless they are Christmas markets!).
I'd also agree with avoiding the height of the high season...July & August (European & other school holidays), simply because of the number of other visitors you're likely to encounter and higher room rates. June or September would be my choices from the months you mention (that goes for anywhere within Europe).
