Dont Know how long in each place

We arrive 25th DEc 2012 Krabi we have till 5th jan we thought maybe 3 or 4 night R.Beach west I want to be on a nice beach can we walk to the East for nightlife ? Then 2 days maybe on Ko Jum and the last 5 nights Ko lanta Or shall we just split the 12 days between the 2 resorts ? I enjoy night life cool chilled music and bars not really clube and no english bars restraunts et thats why we think PI Pi may not be a good iead !! .We went to Langkawi 2 years ago and loved it nice and chilled Can any one give any ideas
