I want to climb Mt Kinabalu (and also via ferrata) in November. Need some info: 1)Can I go to KK Town to make arrangement 1 or 2 days before climb or do I need to make reservations months in advance as info in internet say must book the accommodation at half way point? 2)How much do I need to spend? 3)Is there a place where I can book everything (climb, accommodation at half way point, via ferrata) all in one place and how much does it cost 4)is in better to stay at KK town or somewhere near before the climb? Anyone with info or experience can share? Thanks in advance.
AFAIK few days before would be not enough, sometime it's too late months in advance, you'd better contact the rangers there otherwise if you have no accomodation the night before you will not climb to the top.
