Hi!all, My friend and I is planning a trip to Kinabalu. Could anyone tell us when the best season to climb the mountain is and diving season as well??? Is Jan. ok to go diving and climbing there? Thanks a lot. If u dont mind, could you please reply me at bluelily7576@hotmail.com

Jan is good but the best time of them both on March to April. THe importance are you need to do an advance booking for the Mt Climbing 1st. Cos it quit hard to get the accommodation at Laban Rata on that season. Cheers~ Wyen

yes, best time march-may and best is may as the harvest festival month is during this month. it's kind of a big celebration especially on the 30 and 31st may. book in advance.

as long is it is not on the monsoon season, it is good for both. you can book in advance if you want to, but no matter which travel agency that you went to, it will end-up to the same travel agent, because Sabah State Government only allowed one travel agency to operate climbing facility, hostel and etc. the other travel agency, is just in a middle. my suggestion is, book direct!
