Wheather condition Kos town - Bodrum?

Bodrum and Kos town are one in front of the other but i read that have different wheather conditions. Have you ever been in kos town and bodrum? Is true that bodrum has hotter wheather during the summer?

    Bodrum is about 5 degrees warmer on the hottest days, and of course is on the continent of Asia minor, I hope this helps, Bon Voyage.
